95% PSA Drop
After using the TULSA Procedure, most men see their PSA levels fall by 95% 2, showing that the entire prostate has been well treated.
92% Less Prostate Size
Using the same TULSA Procedure, the prostate shrinks by 92% without hurting the urethra or the muscles that control urine flow. This means patients keep important parts working well while getting the treatment they need.
The TULSA Procedure has FDA clearance and more than 20 clinical studies that follow patients for up to five years. It does not involve cuts, and you walk in and walk out the same day. The approach brings many advantages, like fewer side effects and a quick return to daily life.
Low Complications
Our latest study shows the TULSA Procedure carries a much lower chance of day-to-day functional decline.
Same Day, Outpatient Procedure
The TULSA Procedure is done in a few hours. You go home the same day, skip an overnight hospital stay, and get back to life faster.
Stay Flexible for Future Care
If your prostate needs more attention later, you can have the TULSA Procedure again or choose from other treatment options.
Bounce Back Fast
Most men return to their normal routines quickly, with urinary and sexual functions typically back to normal in about three months.
Personalized Treatment
The TULSA Procedure is customized to your anatomy and tissue, making it a truly personalized approach to prostate care.
Pinpoint Treatment
TULSA is both gentle and precise, targeting disease exactly where it is—leading to a big drop in PSA levels and minimal cancer on follow-up biopsies.
Every treatment has its trade-offs. For TULSA, some possible risks include trouble getting or keeping an erection, minor urine leaks, some blood in the urine, a small discharge from the urethra, urinary tract infections, blood clots in the legs, tightening at the opening of the bladder or the urethra that could need another procedure, and possibly more frequent urinary symptoms, like feeling the need to go again soon, feeling an urgent need, or waking up more at night to urinate.
Every surgery has some risk, and how someone does after the procedure can depend on their own health and the disease. After the TULSA Procedure, most side effects are mild and go away quickly. People may notice mild urinary symptoms, blood in the urine, small infections, and some soreness in the pelvic area, genitals, stomach, or rectum.
More serious problems happen very seldom, but they can include reactions to anesthesia, problems with erections, leaking urine, discharge from the urethra, urinary tract infections, blood clots in the legs, injury to the rectum, and narrowing of the bladder neck or urethra that may need extra treatment. Some patients may notice that urinary symptoms become worse, such as needing to go to the bathroom more often, feeling an urgent need to go, or waking up at night to urinate.
Doctors do not say that the TULSA Procedure will cure any disease or will remove the diseased tissue completely. Sometimes more than one treatment is needed, or doctors may recommend different therapies. Not everyone will have the same results.
Prescription only. TULSA-PRO is for ultrasound ablation of prostate tissue.
